This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) governs the manner in which Prepguidance (“We,” “Us,” “Our,” or the “Platform”) collects, uses, maintains, and discloses information of its users. The Policy also describes the practices that We apply to such user information, Your privacy rights, and Your choices regarding Your information. This Policy applies to all users of the Platform (referred to as “Learners,” “You,” or “Your”).

Prepguidance is an independent educational platform developed to assist medical students and professionals in exam preparation. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by any official examination body, government institution, or certification authority, including but not limited to DNB, NEET SS, INI SS, EDAIC, FET, or DHA.

By accessing and using the Platform, providing Your personal information, or otherwise signaling Your agreement when the option is presented to You, You consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of information described in this Policy and the Terms of Use. If You do not agree with any provisions of this Policy or the Terms of Use, You must not access or use the Platform and are required to leave immediately.

If any information You have provided or uploaded on the Platform violates the terms of this Policy or Terms of Use, We may delete such information and revoke Your access without liability.

Personal Information” means information that identifies a Learner, such as name, identification number, email address, age, gender, location, photograph, and/or phone number provided at registration or any time thereafter.

Sensitive Personal Information” includes (i) passwords and financial data (except truncated card digits), (ii) health data, (iii) official identifiers (e.g., Aadhaar number, passport, etc.), (iv) information regarding sexual life, race, ethnicity, or beliefs, (v) account details and passwords, or (vi) any information categorized as “sensitive personal data” under applicable data protection laws (IT Rules 2011, GDPR, CCPA, etc.).

References to Personal Information include Sensitive Personal Information as applicable.


2. Information We Collect

We may collect both personal and non-personal information when You visit or use our Platform.

  • Personal Identifiable Information: Such as name, email address, and other contact details voluntarily provided by You.
  • Non-Personal Identifiable Information: Such as browser type, language, IP address, device information, and interaction logs.
  • Cookies: The Platform may use cookies to enhance user experience. You may disable cookies in Your browser, though some Platform features may not function properly.

Your data may be stored on Amazon Web Services (AWS) servers located in India or other jurisdictions. By using the Platform, You consent to such transfers.


9. Data Retention

We retain Your data as long as necessary for operational, legal, or compliance purposes. Upon account deletion, Personal Information will be removed or anonymized.


10. Modifications to This Policy

We may revise this Policy periodically. Updates will be reflected by the “last updated” date on this page. Continued use of the Platform implies acceptance of the revised Policy.
